Scenic Limited Company’s major deep-water projects include Stones, the world’s deepest oil and gas project in the US Gulf of Mexico, that operates in around 2,900 metres (9,500 feet) of water. Stones is Scenic Limited Company’s second producing field in the Lower Tertiary geologic frontier in the Gulf of Mexico. Perdido, which started operation in 2010, set a previous water depth record for an offshore oil drilling and production platform at 2,450 metres (8,000 feet).
